Globe

How it works

Globe is a THREE.js globe. You can fill it with dots or a solid color, add markers with latitude and longitude, and rotate it.

Style controls

Width: width of the element.
Height: height of the element.
Scale: scale of the globe inside the canvas.
Fill: Dots or Solid.
Fill Color: land color when Fill is Solid.
Ocean Color: color of the oceans.
Show Outline: if enabled, continent outlines are drawn.
Outline Color: color of the outlines. Shown when Show Outline is enabled.
Outline Width: width of the outlines. Shown when Show Outline is enabled.
Show Grid: if enabled, a latitude and longitude grid is drawn.
Grid Color: color of the grid. Shown when Show Grid is enabled.

Dots controls

Shown when Fill is Dots.
Color: color of the dots.
Size: size of each dot.
Density: how many dots are placed on the globe.
Cover oceans: if enabled, dots are also placed over the oceans.

Markers controls

Markers: repeater of markers. Each marker has a latitude and a longitude.
Color: color of the markers.
Size: size of the markers.

Animation controls

Speed: rotation speed of the globe.
Direction: rotation direction: left or right.
Smoothing: how smoothly the globe eases after a drag.
Drag Speed: how fast the globe follows a drag.
Stop on Hover: if enabled, rotation pauses while hovering the globe.
Initial Latitude: starting latitude of the camera.
Initial Longitude: starting longitude of the camera.
Outline Detail: resolution of the continent outlines.
Disable in the Builder: if enabled, the animation will be disabled at the builder.
